He's 16.1h, Belgian Warmblood gelding (1/2 TB by blood) will be 5 yo in 2009, extremely talented in all aspects, but he would need to be in a situation where his training would progress forward for a lease situation. He's being wonderfully started, an easy fun ride, and a top-level prospect for eventing. Due to my situation w/ a baby of my own coming, I am worried about not having enough time for him. He is insured, and insurance would need to be continued on him. In addition, he can not be at a boarding facility due to his allergies from some vaccines. | Description | Casper (aka Epic Will) is a handsome bay unraced TB gelding, 16.1 H, sired by Epic Win. (Epic Win was an Advanced competitor under Denny Emerson and died a few years back, and thereby his Eventing progeny are hard to come by.) Casper has competed through the Novice level and was ready to compete Training this year, however, his rider (me) became pregnant! I am still schooling him on the flat and doing the occasional small grids. He is classy in the dressage ring, bold on cross country, and careful over fences in show jumping. I really think he could suit the right interested woman geared for an eventing challenge or a C-2/C-3 Pony Club member desiring to move up through the ranks. Casper has the typical TB energy coupled with genuine kindness. I have had him (and trained him) since he was a weanling, so I am able to share whatever past information about him that anyone might need to know. He ties, clips, bathes, trailers well, and is a gentle giant especially when getting grooming attention. |
